Sales Coach
Ask questions about your team and get coaching guidance grounded in your real sales data.
Sales Coach is a tool that helps you be a better sales manager. Ask it questions about your team, get coaching suggestions, and work through a deal or a 1:1 — with answers drawn from your own sales data.
What is Sales Coach?
Sales Coach is a conversational tool that:
- Answers questions about your team's performance
- Suggests coaching focus areas for specific reps
- Helps you prepare for difficult conversations
- Talks through strategies for moving a deal forward
Sales Coach uses AI to draft its answers from your organization's real data, so guidance reflects what's actually happening on your team.

How Sales Coach Works
Grounded in Your Data
Sales Coach pulls from data in your organization, including:
- Your team members' pipeline and deal data
- Recent activity (meetings, calls, emails)
- Performance figures (quota attainment, win rate)
- Your coaching notes and past action items
- Meeting context (summaries and briefs)
Privacy: Sales Coach only reads data inside your own organization.
Current Data
- Answers reflect your synced CRM data, kept current automatically (near-real-time via webhooks, plus scheduled and manual resync)
- If data hasn't synced recently, answers may lag the latest changes — check your sync status in Settings → Integrations
Memory
As you chat, Sales Coach can save short notes about your team, deals, and stated preferences so it doesn't make you repeat yourself across conversations. You stay in control of these:
- View everything Sales Coach has remembered
- Pin a memory so it's always available, or edit its wording
- Delete an individual memory, or clear all of them
Memory is a record of facts you've shared — it does not change how Sales Coach reasons or train any model on your team.
Conversation Threads
Sales Coach keeps your conversations in separate threads:
Creating a Thread
- Click New Thread in Sales Coach
- Start asking questions
- Each thread keeps its own history, so follow-ups have context
When to Use Threads
- General Coaching — Keep one ongoing thread for daily questions
- Specific Projects — Create threads for quota planning, team changes, etc.
- Rep-Specific — One thread per rep for deep-dive coaching
You can delete a thread you no longer need.
Best Practices
Ask Specific Questions
Good:
- "Why is Sarah's pipeline velocity slower than the team average?"
- "What should I cover in tomorrow's 1:1 with Mike about the Acme deal?"
Less Good:
- "How's my team doing?" (too broad)
- "What should I do?" (missing context)
Provide Context
Sales Coach works best with details:
- Rep names
- Deal names
- Time frames
- Specific concerns
Use Follow-Ups
Within a thread, Sales Coach keeps context:
- "Tell me more about that"
- "What about Emma instead?"
- "Can you give me an example?"
Verify Recommendations
Sales Coach is a helpful starting point, not the final word:
- Cross-check important facts
- Use your judgment on coaching style
- Treat it as a guide, not gospel
Working from a Rep's Profile
Click Ask Coach from any rep's profile and the conversation starts with that rep's context already loaded, so you can go straight to questions about their pipeline and performance.
You can also ask Sales Coach to talk through a coaching plan or compare two reps. Those answers come back as written guidance you can read, copy, and adapt — use your judgment before acting on them.
Message Limits
Sales Coach has a daily message limit to keep usage fair. As you go, the chat shows how many messages you have left for the day; when you reach the limit, it tells you when it resets.
